Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Piles Up the Points Against Barberton

Roosevelt won the last time they faced Barberton and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Roosevelt Rough Riders breezed by the Barberton Magics to the tune of 52-18. Given the Rough Riders' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 157th, while the Magics are ranked 611th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Barberton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Roosevelt will head out to take on Copley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Barberton, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Highland at 1:00 p.m. Highland will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Barberton surely won't give up without a fight.
