Volleyball Recap: Horn Find Success

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Horn had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jaguars have posted since September 24, 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Shylah Taylor, who had 18 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

When it comes to explaining why Copperas Cove lost, don't look at AVERY ROBINSON. Despite the final result, she had 25 assists and 15 digs. ROBINSON is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Horn has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-21 record this season. As for Copperas Cove, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 23-20.

Looking ahead, Horn will square off against North Forney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Copperas Cove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
