Recap: Childress Bobcats vs. Quanah Indians
The Childress Bobcats had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over Quanah. That's another feather in the cap for Childress, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Childress got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alicia Salinas out in front who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Salinas has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Journey Prince, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Childress' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-15. As for Quanah, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Childress will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Idalou at 3:30 p.m. on January 5th. Idalou will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Quanah, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Memphis at 6:00 a.m. Memphis is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
