Football Recap: MacArthur Triumphs + How To Watch

After only six points in their last game, MacArthur made sure to put some points up on the board against Sam Houston on Friday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Texans by a score of 40-28. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

MacArthur's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Sam Houston, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MacArthur will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Nimitz at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The matchup will give the Cardinals their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sam Houston, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against South Grand Prairie at 7:00 p.m. The Texans will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
