Football Recap: Midland Trail Piles Up the Points Against Poca

Midland Trail got themselves on the board against Poca on Friday, but Poca never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Dots 55-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Patriots just coasted through the last quarter.

Midland Trail has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points this season. As for Poca, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midland Trail will face off against Braxton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Poca, they will be playing at home against Ravenswood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
