Baseball Recap: Hoke County Takes a Loss

Hoke County lost against Southern Lee back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hoke County lost 13-2 to Southern Lee. The Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hoke County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Spivey, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Hoke County's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Southern Lee, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Hoke County has already played their next matchup, a 14-10 defeat against St. Pauls on the 27th. As for Southern Lee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 win against Montgomery Central on the 26th.
