Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burlington-Edison). They blew past the Bellingham Bayhawks 16-0 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Burlington-Edison got a great performance from Ryder Aldridge as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Aldridge a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Jakson Granger was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Wyatt Dehon also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Burlington-Edison kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.3 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.

Burlington-Edison's record is now 13-3. As for Bellingham, they dropped their record down to 6-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Burlington-Edison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Squalicum on the 29th. As for Bellingham, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Meridian on the 29th.
