Volleyball Recap: Ridgeview Triumphs

Ridgeview won the last time they faced Creekside, and Alyssa Herringdine did her part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers came out on top against the Knights by a score of 3-1 on Thursday thanks in part to Herringdine, who had 23 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

While Ridgeview might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Creekside scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-18, 25-21.

The victory got Ridgeview back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeview will face off against Atlantic Coast at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Creekside, they will square off against Bishop Kenny at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
