St. George won the last time they faced Flint River Academy and things went their way on Friday too. St. George's blew past the Flint River Academy Wildcats, posting a 64-26 victory. St. George's has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. George's to victory, but perhaps none more so than Pressley Burson, who went 9 for 21 en route to 23 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jules Gotell, who posted 21 points and six boards.

St. George's smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive contests.

Flint River Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Reagan Riner and Rhyan Banks. Riner earned 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while Banks had nine points. That was a full 46.2% of Flint River Academy's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

St. George's moved to 11-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Flint River Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

St. George's will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Trinity Christian School of Griffin at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. Flint River Academy has already played their next match (against Windsor Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
