Basketball Recap: Berea Takes a Loss

Berea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 66-58 to the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 64-53 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ty'Korian Campbell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Blue Ridge, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds. What's more, Campbell also racked up three blocks, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Paul Bishop, who went 6 of 14 en route to 17 points and five assists.

Berea's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Blue Ridge, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-10.

Berea wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 64-32 win against Pickens on the 17th. Blue Ridge has also already played their next matchup, a 62-55 defeat against Daniel on the 17th.
