Plainfield North is a perfect 10-0 against Plainfield Central since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a classic North v. South duel when Plainfield North duked it out with Plainfield South on Tuesday. The Tigers' defense stepped up to hand the Cougars a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Plainfield North, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Plainfield Central hasn't lost a match since April 3rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Plainfield East, sneaking past 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Plainfield Central were the better team in the second half.

Plainfield Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those six games. As for Plainfield North, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Everything went Plainfield North's way against Plainfield Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Plainfield North made off with a 4-1 victory. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
