It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Turner ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against the Lake Mills L-Cats by a score of 12-9. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won ten games in a row.

Autumn Meris was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maddy Hoenig, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Turner kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.

Turner pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Lake Mills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turner will square off against Burlington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake Mills, they will take on Lakeside Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
