It was a proper cat-fight when Cullman took on Red Bay on Saturday. The Cullman Bearcats blew past the Red Bay Tigers, posting a 73-45 win. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Red Bay saw an underclassman step up: freshman Khalil Luster almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Luster has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Cullman, bringing their record for this year to 11-1. As for Red Bay, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cullman will take on Hartselle in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Red Bay, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Belmont at 8:00 p.m.
