Baseball Recap: Phillips Exeter Academy Takes a Loss

Phillips Exeter Academy fell victim to Worcester Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 1-0. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Lions, who fell 2-0 when the teams last met back in April.

Phillips Exeter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Worcester Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8-1.

Coming up, Phillips Exeter Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Austin Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Worcester Academy, they will head out to challenge Noble & Greenough at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
