Basketball Recap: Tigard Takes a Loss

Tigard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeridge Pacers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 36-35 back in January.

Tigard's record now sits at 4-15. As for Lakeridge, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tigard will challenge Oregon City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Tigard has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lakeridge, they will take on Tualatin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tualatin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Lakeridge likes a good challenge.
