Carson is 9-1 against Rancho Dominguez since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Colts will look to defend their home court against the Lobos at 3:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Carson has three straight wins, Rancho Dominguez has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Wednesday, Carson earned a 3-1 victory over Banning.

While Carson might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Banning scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24, 20-25, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Rancho Dominguez lost 3-0 to San Pedro on Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-14.

Carson's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Rancho Dominguez, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Everything went Carson's way against Rancho Dominguez when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Carson made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Lobos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
