Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Lutheran Academy Piles Up the Points Against Conrad Academy

There's no place like home for Holy Cross Lutheran Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the Conrad Academy Eagles 57-29 on Tuesday. The Crusaders pushed the score to 44-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles had little chance of recovering from.

Christian King was his usual excellent self, putting up 28 points. Grant Walton also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

With the victory, Holy Cross Lutheran Academy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Cross Lutheran Academy will square off against Circle Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Centurions have now posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Conrad Academy, they will face off against Bridge to Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
