Preview: Tillamook Cheesemakers vs. Mazama Vikings
The Tillamook Cheesemakers are on the road again on Wednesday and play against the Mazama Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Wednesday, things could have been worse for Tillamook, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-32 loss to Banks. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tillamook has scored all season.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Aubrey Hilton, who scored 11 points along with three steals. The game was her seventh in a row with at least ten points. Vivian Vogel was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Mazama's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. The match between Mazama and Yreka wasn't particularly close, with Mazama falling 51-36.
Tillamook's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Mazama, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-8.
