Baseball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Woodward Boomers, falling 11-4. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 18, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Woodward, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clinton beat Woodward by a score of 14-1 on Tuesday.
