Soccer Game Preview: Duncanville vs. Waxahachie

Duncanville has won three straight games at home, while Waxahachie has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes will welcome the Waxahachie Indians at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Duncanville's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Irving 6-0. That six goal margin sets a new team best for the Panthers and Pantherettes this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Waxahachie sidestepped University for a 1-0 win.

Waxahachie is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five matchups. As for Duncanville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Duncanville took their victory against Waxahachie in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1. Will Duncanville repeat their success, or does Waxahachie have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
