Softball Recap: Cosby Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Cosby was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hancock County Indians by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-4 defeat back in April.

Cosby's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Hancock County, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Cosby has already played their next game, a 10-9 victory against Washburn on the 7th. Hopefully Hancock County paid attention to the Eagles' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
