Basketball Game Preview: Watertown Arrows vs. Washington Warriors

Watertown is 0-10 against Washington since January of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Watertown Arrows will challenge the Washington Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Watertown is headed into the game having just posted their biggest win since December 22, 2023 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Lincoln with a sharp 54-28 victory.

Meanwhile, Washington had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They took down the Bobcats 51-34.

Washington's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Watertown, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Watertown came up short against Washington in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 46-41. Can Watertown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
