Basketball Game Preview: Labette County Grizzlies vs. Fort Scott Tigers

The Labette County Grizzlies will challenge the Fort Scott Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Labette County is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Chanute on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Labette County came up short against Chanute, falling 69-48. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Blue Comets recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Fort Scott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Frontenac.

Fort Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Labette County, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
