Basketball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison came up into this matchup off a tough 30-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Newport Harbor Sailors by a score of 60-57 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Chargers have suffered since December 2, 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Edison and nudges their season record down to 16-10. As for Newport Harbor, their win bumped their record up to 17-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Corona del Mar the next time they take the court. Edison will head out to face Corona del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Newport Harbor will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
