The Blackfoot Broncos proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 20) but on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 victory over Shelley. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Blackfoot.
Dax Whitney had a dynamite game for Blackfoot, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carter Andersen, who scored nine points along with five assists.
Blackfoot is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season. As for Shelley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-13.
Blackfoot does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Shelley also has no future games currently scheduled.
