Math Science & Engineering got their first taste of in-conference action on Saturday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 33-25 win over Clinton School. The 33-point effort marked Math Science & Engineering's lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Several Clinton School players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lily Difiore, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 boards and nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lila Tepperberg, who posted six points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals.

Math Science & Engineering's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Clinton School, they moved to 10-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
