Basketball Game Preview: Royal Knights vs. Wapato Wolves

Royal hasn't had much luck against Wapato recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Royal Knights just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Wapato Wolves at 3:45 p.m. Royal has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Friday, Royal didn't have too much trouble with Connell as they won 54-38.

Meanwhile, Wapato had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-45 win over the Bears.

Royal's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Wapato, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Royal came up short against Wapato in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 69-56. Can Royal avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
