Football Recap: Grandview Takes a Loss

Grandview managed to slip by Whitney the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Zebras had to suffer through a 34-7 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 63 points in the game before, the Zebras couldn't push the score so high this time.

Grandview's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Whitney, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Grandview will take on rival Groesbeck at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Whitney is set to face off against their familiar foe Maypearl at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
