Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Chastelyn Jaramillo and Natalia Chacon Lead Coronado to Victory + How To Watch

While Coronado's win against Jemez Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Leopards had just enough and edged out the Warrior 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Leopards as they're now sitting on three straight.

Coronado was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (112-101), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 11-25, 20-25, 20-18.

Coronado was led to victory by Natalia Chacon and Chastelyn Jaramillo. Chacon had nine aces and six digs, while Jaramillo had eight kills and seven digs. That's the most digs Jaramillo has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Coronado was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in ten consecutive matchups.

Coronado's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Jemez Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

Coronado will head out to take on Monte Del Sol Charter at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jemez Valley, they will host Menaul at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
