Basketball Recap: Schalmont Comes Up Short

Schalmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Broadalbin-Perth Patriots an easy 50-29 win. The game marked the Sabres' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Schalmont's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Broadalbin-Perth, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Schalmont and Whitesboro will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 29th. As for Broadalbin-Perth, they will take on Hoosic Valley at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
