In what's become a running theme this season, the Fairfax Christian Cardinals gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They put the hurt on Fairfax HomeSchool with a sharp 74-52 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-17.
Fairfax Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Frank Siaca Bey out in front who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexander Sidbury, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Fairfax Christian and bumps their season record up to 24-5. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfax Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Evergreen Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Evergreen Christian is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
