Football Game Preview: Power/Dutton-Brady Titans vs. Big Sandy Pioneers

The Power/Dutton-Brady Titans will take on the Big Sandy Pioneers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Power/Dutton-Brady knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Big Sandy likes a good challenge.

Back in September, Power/Dutton-Brady humbled Alberton with a 36-6 victory.

Meanwhile, Big Sandy faced Chester-Joplin-Inverness in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Pioneers had to suffer through a 52-6 loss at the hands of the Hawks. The Pioneers were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the four matchups prior), but the Hawks' defense proved too tough.

The defeat snapped Big Sandy's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-3 record. As for Power/Dutton-Brady, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Power/Dutton-Brady took their win against Big Sandy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 51-28 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pioneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
