Softball Recap: Kingman Bulldogs vs. Tonopah Valley Phoenix

In what's become a running theme this season, Kingman gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. Everything went their way against the Tonopah Valley Phoenix as the Kingman Bulldogs made off with a 22-3 victory. The win was nothing new for Kingman as they're now sitting on three straight.

Destiny Hartley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (she also only allowed one walk). Hartley was even better at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and a triple.

In other batting news, Brooke Carter was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Layonie Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI and two runs.

Kingman's victory bumped their record up to 10-7-1. As for Tonopah Valley, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Odyssey Institute the next time they take the field. Kingman will host Odyssey Institute at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, while Tonopah Valley will host them at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
