Volleyball Recap: Pratt Comes Up Short

Pratt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Haven Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Tuesday.

Pratt was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22.

Mica Stapleton paced Pratt's offense, picking up ten kills. Stapleton got some help from Emry Myers and her ten assists. Avery Fuhr controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pratt's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Haven, their record now sits at 11-9.

Pratt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Wellington on the 27th. As for Haven, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Hesston on the 27th.
