The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Maria, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2.

Coming up, Morro Bay will challenge Exeter at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Santa Maria, they will face off against Santa Ynez at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
