River Mill has gone a perfect 4-0 against Ascend Leadership recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. River Mill will head out on the road to square off against Ascend Leadership at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

River Mill fell victim to Chatham Charter and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

Meanwhile, Ascend Leadership was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to Clover Garden School.

Ascend Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for River Mill, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went River Mill's way against Ascend Leadership when the teams last played two weeks ago, as River Mill made off with a 16-1 win. Does River Mill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ascend Leadership turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
