Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Notre Dame Academy came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the North Oldham Mustangs by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Pandas, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Notre Dame Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 25-14, 25-20.

Leading Notre Dame Academy to victory were Lizzy Larkins and Dara Jackson. Larkins had 29 assists and eight digs, while Jackson had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most assists Larkins has posted since back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why North Oldham lost, don't look at Chloe Clark. Despite the final result, she had 13 assists and six digs.

Notre Dame Academy's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for North Oldham, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Notre Dame Academy will challenge Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Oldham, they will venture away from home to take on Paul Laurence Dunbar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
