The Pflugerville Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their eighth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 66-46 walloping at the hands of SA Roosevelt. Pflugerville lost against SA Roosevelt in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 53-43 score last time.

Leading SA Roosevelt to victory were Shai Markajani and Randy Marshall. Markajani scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds, while Marshall scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Castillo, who scored 3 points along with 7 assists.

Pflugerville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for SA Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pflugerville is on the road again on Friday and play against Lake Belton at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for SA Roosevelt, they will take on Madison at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
