Basketball Recap: Mater Dei Catholic Takes a Loss

Mater Dei Catholic played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Victory Christian Academy Knights, falling 72-49. The Crusaders' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Victory Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Angel Ochoa, who went 9 for 14 on his way to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Troy Tominna, who went 7 of 11 en route to 18 points.
