Hillcrest's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Thomas Ashby
Thanks in part to Thomas Ashby, Hillcrest said goodbye to their 16-game losing streak dating back to last season. Coleman Dearden posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 87 yards and a touchdown.
Dearden might have his next game, a home matchup with Tooele, circled on his calendar. Dearden threw for 288 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 40 yards the last time he and the Buffaloes duked it out back in October of 2023.
