Abagail Rousey leads Lighthouse Christian Academy to victory over Seven Oaks Classical

Recap: Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions vs. Seven Oaks Classical Firehawks

In what's become a running theme this season, the Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Seven Oaks Classical 55-29. The victory was just what Lighthouse Christian Academy needed coming off of a 59-23 loss in their prior game.

Abagail Rousey continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lighthouse Christian Academy's points. Victoria Mann was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.

Despite the loss, Seven Oaks Classical saw an underclassman step up: Macy Bush scored 16 points.

Lighthouse Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Seven Oaks Classical, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Christian Academy will take on Cannelton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Cannelton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Saturday. As for Seven Oaks Classical, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Horizon Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Horizon Christian is ranked 395th, while Seven Oaks Classical is ranked 382nd).
