Recap: Windham Whippets vs. Montville Wolves        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, the Windham Whippets gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding  70-24 victory over Montville at home. Given Windham's advantage  in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings  (they are ranked 33rd, while the Wolves are ranked 122nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Windham was led to victory by  Aniya Jenkins and  Hailey Flores.  Jenkins  scored 22 points along with six  steals and five  rebounds, while  Flores  almost  dropped  a triple-double on 14 points, 11  rebounds, and nine  steals. Flores also  posted eight  assists for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaelize Rivera, who  scored 12 points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists.
 Windham pushed their record up to 12-3 with that  win, which was their 11th straight  at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the  matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.7 points. As for Montville, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windham will  challenge the Lions at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Montville, they will head out on the road to  square off against  the Clippers at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Putnam has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 27.
