Basketball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood and Ascension Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Northwood had to settle for second. They fell to the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs 48-44. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Ascension Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 16-11.

While Northwood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
