Basketball Recap: Moses Lake's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Moses Lake was feeling good fresh off their 75-41 takedown of Wenatchee last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The matchup between the Moses Lake Mavericks and the West Valley Rams didn't end well, with the Moses Lake Mavericks falling 74-56. The loss continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost five in a row.

Moses Lake's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. As for West Valley, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.

Moses Lake will challenge Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Moses Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Eisenhower likes a good challenge. As for West Valley, they will face off against Davis at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Davis will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something West Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
