Volleyball Game Preview: Big Walnut Golden Eagles vs. Dublin Scioto Irish

The Big Walnut Golden Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Dublin Scioto Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Big Walnut came up short against Worthington Kilbourne on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Dublin Scioto started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 25-13, 25-18.

Big Walnut's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Dublin Scioto, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything went Big Walnut's way against Dublin Scioto in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Big Walnut made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
