Baseball Recap: Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils vs. Executive Education Academy Charter School Raptors
Shenandoah Valley won against MMI Preparatory School last Friday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Executive Education Academy Charter School Raptors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Brayden Maksimik and Chase McCole were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Maksimik struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, McCole tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Maksimik scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while McCole scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Those two runs gave McCole a new career-high.
In other batting news, John Burke was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in doubles. Jeremy Thomas was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Shenandoah Valley's record now sits at 2-0. As for Executive Education Academy Charter School, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shenandoah Valley will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Notre Dame at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Executive Education Academy Charter School will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Salisbury Township at 11:00 a.m. on April 5th.
