Riverside had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Burwell Longhorns. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Longhorns, too.
 Riverside never let Burwell on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17,  25-22.
 Leading Riverside to victory were  Autumn Murphy and  Addy Seamann.  Murphy  had 11  digs and five  assists, while  Seamann  had seven  digs. That's the most  digs  Seamann has posted  over her last seven  matches.
 Despite the loss, Burwell still got an impressive performance from   Karsyn Bower, who  had 13  digs. Bower has been hot for a while, having  posted ten or more  digs the last 12 times she's  played.
Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Burwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
 Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  win against Ainsworth on the 14th. As for Burwell, they have also already played their next contest,  a  3-0  victory against Chambers/Wheeler Central on the 14th.
