The Mountain Pointe Pride suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Thursday. They were beaten by Notre Dame Prep 66-27. Mountain Pointe was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-13.

Despite the defeat, Mountain Pointe saw an underclassman step up: Nia Rowe scored 15 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Rowe scored 15 or more points.

Mountain Pointe struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Notre Dame Prep pulled down 25 offensive rebounds.

Notre Dame Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Pautz, who scored 17 points along with two steals and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Olivia Frankel, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
