Baseball Game Preview: Sutter Huskies vs. El Camino Eagles

The Sutter Huskies will square off against the El Camino Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Sutter will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Sutter is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let El Camino get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory on Wednesday. With that win, the Huskies brought their scoring average up to 7.4 runs per game.

Not much got past Mason McCall, who gave up just two hits to keep El Camino off the board. What's more, McCall gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Sutter got a massive performance out of Blake Agger, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Karter Johnson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Sutter always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Sutter's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for El Camino, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
