Volleyball Recap: Mexia Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mexia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Fairfield Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 25-13.

Mexia's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Fairfield, they pushed their record up to 25-6 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mexia is set to take on their familiar foe Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fairfield will challenge rival Teague at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
